XMMA’s fifth event is coming in hot.

After a successful night in New Orleans (XMMA 4), the promotion is planning its return to South Carolina. XMMA 5: Southern Heat, set for July 23rd, will feature another card filled with former UFC stars, world champions and regional standouts.

Sources tell MMA Island that six fights have been finalized for XMMA 5. UFC veterans Impa Kasanganay and Jared Gooden will collide in a welterweight bout.

Kasanganay has been released from his Eagle FC contract to take on Gooden. He’s coming off a split decision loss to Raimond Magomedaliev. Gooden, on the other hand, is riding a two-fight win streak. ‘Nite Train’ last defeated Curtis Millender at XMMA 4 back in April.

Keith Lee, brother of Kevin Lee, will make his long-awaited return to MMA. The social media sensation will take on Upstate Karate’s Westin Wilson.

‘Killa’ hit a two-fight skid to Raufeon Stots and Jornel Lugo. Following those losses, Lee would be released from Bellator. Facing off against him will be Wilson, who has won three straight. Wilson’s latest win came against Tyrek Malveaux at XMMA 4.

Keith ‘Rockstar’ Richardson will rock and roll once again, this time against TUF 29 contestant Josh Rettinghouse. Richardson has won four in a row, holding wins over the likes of Daniel Straus and Hunter Azure. Rettinghouse hasn’t fought since appearing on ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ in 2021. He’d lose his quarter-final matchup against Brady Hiestand.

Former PFL Champion Andre Harrison is set for his return. ‘The Bull’ will lock horns with Maike Linhares. Harrison rebounded with a TKO win over Mauro Chaulet last November. He will look to make it two in a row against the streaking Linhares, winner of his last three.

Former UFC fighter Collin Anglin will collide with James ‘Get Down’ Brown. And no, that’s not the popular soul artist. After winning a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series, Anglin would drop his next two fights. It only took Anglin a couple of defeats for him to be released from the roster.

Anglin looks to rebound against Brown, who has looked great as of late. ‘Get Down’ has got some things going for him, who has won six straight fights.

Last but not least, Jackson Farias vs. Cody Jones is also set. Farias looks to pick up his first pro win after losing in first three appearances. Myrtle Beach’s Jones eyes a win in his home state of South Carolina. Jones is coming off two submission victories since losing to former Bellator title challenger Austin Vanderford.

XMMA 5 takes place on July 23rd in Columbia, South Carolina.

Here is a look at the card so far:

  • Impa Kasanganay vs. Jared Gooden
  • Keith Lee vs. Westin Wilson
  • Keith Richardson vs. Josh Rettinghouse
  • Andre Harrison vs. Maike Linhares
  • Collin Anglin vs. James Brown
  • Jackson Farias vs. Cody Jones
