A million-dollar bet offered by Dana White on Ben Askren beating Jake Paul has been taken up by the famed YouTuber’s coach.

BJ Flores, a former World Cruiserweight title contender who started coaching Paul at the end of 2019, contacted MMA Island to lay out the challenge to White after the UFC boss presented the outlandish bet while appearing on Hot Boxing with Mike Tyson.

Flores, in a statement to MMA Island said: “I am Jake Paul’s Trainer. My business partner and I will back the 1 million dollars in escrow account this week.”

“Put your money where your mouth is, Dana White. Jake Paul v Ben Askren. 1 million dollars to the winner.

“Easy f***ing money. Let’s see if Dana White will back it up.”

The message was followed by a video from Paul himself, offering to double the money.

A feud has been brewing between UFC supremo White and social media star Jake since the fight boss rubbished Paul’s callout of Conor McGregor towards the end of last year.

Jake Paul is believed to have offered McGregor $50 million, with proof of funds made available to his manager Audie Attar of Paradigm Sports.
