UFC welterweights Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington got into it on Monday night in Miami.

The pair clearly haven’t buried their hatchet despite their 25-minute fight at UFC  272. The incident occurred while Covington was allegedly exiting Papi Steak in Miami, Florida. Masvidal who was privy to Covington’s location and was waiting outside.

According to police documents obtained by TMZ, Covington details the attack that took place on him. Covington states that Masvidal, “ran up to him from the left, and without notice, punched him with a closed fist, two times in the face.” Covington also heard Masvidal say, “You shouldn’t have been talking about my kids.”

Following the altercation, Masvidal took to Twitter and tagged Covington in a now-deleted video message.

“Calling this the show-your-face challenge. What’s up? I’m from Dade County. You talk that shit, you got to back it up. That’s how my city rolls, man.”

According to the documents, several other men tried to get involved too. However, Covington rushed back into the restaurant before calling the police.

Covington suffered from a fractured front left tooth and an abrasion. The documents also show that his wristwatch was damaged in the attack. The attack took place at approximately 11:30 pm ET. A video posted by TMZ shows Masvidal being held back from Covington while yelling “Don’t talk about my kids.” The same video also shows Covington talking to the police.

“He’s over here swinging, trying to come at me, and I ran out the back of the room.”

Covington then turned to social media star and podcaster Bob Menery and asked, “How would he even know I’m here?” His location had been no secret, however. Menery had shared a video to his Instagram story, revealing Covington and his group’s location.

A police report obtained by ESPN from the Miami Beach police reveals that Masvidal could potentially face a felony battery charge. Miami Beach also revealed to the network that the unnamed victim (Covington) was unidentified after invoking this right under Marsy’s law.

Covington and Masvidal fought each other in the main event of UFC 272. The fight was a lopsided dominant performance by Covington, who won by Unanimous decision.
