The latest UFC Pay-Per-View features the best in the flyweight divisions. In the main event, Daivenson Figueiredo squares off against the rising flyweight Alex Perez. In the co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko faces the rising star, Jennifer Maia. The two champions are heavy favorites, but the challengers will hope to shock the world. These are your predictions for UFC 255.

Shogun Rua vs Paul Craig

Keelin: This is a tough fight to call. Shogun is an absolute legend of this sport, no question whatsoever. But the “Bear Jew” Craig has been on a roll as of late. I’m leaning towards the veteran Shogun’s grappling, but don’t be amazed if Craig pulls out a win too.

Jack Kennedy: I’m going with Paul Craig. Shogun has fought in the sport for a long time and has earned his respect. Paul Craig is extremely tough and is a rising contender. I think Paul matches up well and will get it done vs Shogun Rua.

Katlyn Chookagian vs Cynthia Calvillo

Keelin: I see a win for Chookagian here. I think her massive physical and reach advantages will play a big part in this fight.

Jack Kennedy: I like this match-up for Calvillo. I think she takes one step closer to a title shot.

Mike Perry vs Tim Means

Keelin: I think Perry gets another decision here. Whilst Means is a formidable challenge, Perry has enough to get past him.

Jack Kennedy: Despite missing weight, Perry is still one of the toughest fighters on the roster. I think he just presents too much to Means and gets the win.

Valentina Shevchenco vs Jennifer Maia

Keelin: I see the bullet-train remaining unstoppable. Jennifer Maia is a very good fighter, but Valentina is absolutely dominant – for my money, she is arguably the female GOAT, with the exception of Amanda Nunes. Expect a dominant decision or a late finish.

Jack Kennedy: Valentina Shevchenco by anything. She is far and away the best in her division and maybe all of women’s mma. Nothing against Maia, but I think Valentina is going to reign for a long long time.

Deivenson Figueiredo vs Alex Perez

Keelin: I believe Deivenson is gonna send a big statement in this fight. I can see a violent KO for the new flyweight champion.

Jack Kennedy: This is a huge fight for the flyweight division. This fight will prove if a true challenger can pose a threat to the champ. All respect to Perez, but I have Deivenson by a ko in round 4.
