Flyweights collide!

Matt Schnell is back in action against Su Mudaerji this summer. The matchup is slated to take place at UFC Long Island on July 16th, sources told MMA Island.

‘Danger’ last appeared at UFC 274, where he engaged in a fire-fight against Brandon Royval. Schnell would pour on an early onslaught but Royval would survive and get a come-from-behind submission victory. Schnell wouldn’t walk away with a win, but he’d bag a $50K bonus for the ‘fight of the night’.

Before the setback, the ‘TUF 24’ veteran had a no-contest against Rogerio Bontorin and a win over Tyson Nam. Schnell looks to get back in the win column in NYC.

Su Mudaerji has looked perfect ever since his unsuccessful UFC debut. ‘The Tibetan Eagle’ has picked up three wins in a row, beating the likes of Zarrukh Adashev, Malcolm Gordon and Andre Soukhamthath.

Mudaerji will try to add Schnell’s name to his resume.
