now of course with the aftermath series we will do our very best to make accurate predictions on the future for all these fighters, but, this is MMA, you never really know what is going to happen.

Ciryl Gane is the heavyweight division’s newest rising star, riding an 8-fight winning streak and finishing most of his fights. ‘Bon Gamin’ picked up the biggest win of his career this past Saturday against a prime Jairhizno Rozenstruik, picking up a unanimous decision and cementing himself as a true problem for even the most elite heavyweights.  Gane has put himself in line for a potential title eliminator by cracking into the top 5, Gane is in need of a couple big wins to secure his crack at the title. Derrick Lewis is coming off of a KO win over Curtis Blaydes and seems like a good matchup for both gentleman, and could be a title eliminator bout which coulde see the winner of this dream bout get a shot agianst the winner of Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou II.

Jairzhino ‘Bigi Boy’ Rozenstruik suffered his second professional loss to Ciryl Gane this past weekend, putting yet another halt to his climb to the heavyweight strap. Rozenstruik is still a force to be reckoned with, finishing all of his wins in the UFC by either KO or TKO and can most definitely bounce back from this disheartening loss. ‘Bigi Boy’ could do battle with Shamil Abdurakhimov, a great opportunity for both men to test their mettle and see if either man is truly worthy of a title bout in the future. Another interesting opponent for Rozenstruik could be Alexander Volkov. Both men are have stupendous stand up skills and both are in need of a path to the title.

Magomed Anakalaev won one of the most important decisions of his life last weekend against Nikita Krylov barging his way into the top 10 of the light heavyweight division. After trying to book a second fight with Ion Cuțelaba which took far longer then it should have Ankalaev emerged victorious and got this great opportunity against Nikita Krylov which now begs the question, who is next for the Russian. Swiss fighter Volkan Oezdemir pops to mind, it would be a good test for Ankalaev to see if he really is top 10 material.

Nikita Krylov took a loss to Magomed Ankalaev this past weekend sending him down the rankings. Although Krylov is quite far away from any sort of title shot at this point in time this doesn’t mean Krylov is far away from a decent matchup.A bout between Krlov and Jimmy Crute is guarnteed to produce fireworks, both gentlemen are on their way up and all in all just a really fun match up.
