Gordon Ryan has signed a contract with ONE Championship, to compete in both MMA and grappling matches.
ONE’s CEO, Chatri Sityodtong, announced the deal on Twitter.
The three-time ADCC gold medalist and consensus best pound-for-pound nogi grappler in the world, has teased an MMA debut for years.
Ryan currently walks around at 215lb and it hasn’t been announced what weight class he will fight in, or when he will debut.
ONE also recently signed fellow ADCC champion, Marcus ‘Buchecha’ Almeida, who will fight at heavyweight and lost to the 24-year-old in 2019 at ADCC.
His teammate of the Danaher Death Squad, Gary Tonon (6-0), also fights for ONE.
