Denver – Invicta FC announced Tuesday the addition of two Strawweight bouts to round out and complete their upcoming fight card Invicta FC 52: Machado vs. McCormack, which is set to take place at Reelworks Denver on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023.

The first fight will see two-time Atomweight title challenger Minna Grusander (6-4) moving up to Strawweight to challenge undefeated Irish prospect Shauna Bannon (4-0), who made her Invicta debut last September. Grusander hasn’t seen the inside of an Invicta cage since 2018 and is looking to return with a bang.

Also announced for the 115lb division is undefeated prospect Fatima Kline (3-0), fresh off her January victory over The Ultimate Fighter veteran Laura Gallardo. She is set to welcome Russian judoka and 2016 Olympic bronze medalist Natalia Kuziutina (1-0) into the promotion.

In addition to the bouts mentioned above, it was also announced that Alexa Conners (6-4) has been forced out of her Bantamweight bout against undefeated Mexican fighter Montserrat Rendon (5-0) for undisclosed reasons. Maria Favela (4-2) will be stepping in to keep the fight on the card.

Invicta FC 52 will be headlined by Valesca Machado (12-3). She will defend her newly won Strawweight title for the first time against SBG Ireland and Bellator veteran Danni McCormack (6-2) in a bout that’s sure to be fireworks.

Invicta FC 52 kicks off at 9 p.m. ET/7 p.m. MT and airs live on Invicta’s official YouTube Channel and Facebook PageAXS TV in the U.S., and Fight Network in Canada.
